We were selected by the Nashville Metro Human Relations Commission to design the branding and application for their initiative of connecting people in need with resources.
Nashville Hearts Me is an online application that connects people with few resources to places that can assist them with shelter, transportation, medical treatment and more. The application is primarily aimed towards immigrants and non-english speaking residents.
To the right is an illustration we created as part of their marketing campaign. Nashville is a very caring community and volunteers across the city made this possible.
For this project we did branding, identity, marketing, icon design and application design. Below are several logo options which depict memorable Nashville icons along with a geometric shaped heart.
One of the main goals of the application is to connect people in need with assistance from the community. We created a set of unique icons to represent the various resources offered.
The application is simple and intuitive with a focus on the map view, allowing users to easily locate the resources they are looking for. The ability to filter by resource type or location was a critical factor when doing UX design.
